Consul

What began with a single scheduling flow grew into a close collaboration with the founder. Over a year, we explored and refined the product as Atlas evolved into Consul.

Early Exploration

Scheduling and Calendar Exploration

Atlas could already coordinate meeting times when copied into an email. Our first brief was to turn a rough prototype into a booking experience accessed through a personal link, with suggested times and the option to connect a calendar. As the work expanded, we explored relationships and calendar management. The concepts below capture that early thinking.

Consul Pro

Designing the Calendar Workspace

We refined the calendar into a workspace for weekly events, scheduling requests, upcoming meetings, and a daily briefing. This fuller experience, including the CRM, became the direction for Consul Pro.

Adapting with the Product

A More Focused Assistant

Working closely with the founder meant adapting as priorities evolved in a fast-moving AI startup. We helped shape a more focused first version: set up the assistant once, then reach it through iMessage. That meant rethinking the web experience around account connections, preferences, and assistant management, while the richer calendar and CRM remained part of Consul Pro.

Landing Page

Early Landing Explorations

We explored different designs for Consul’s landing page. As the product changed, we moved toward a warmer look and feel.

Trust Built Through the Work

An Invitation to Join as Founding Designer.

What began as a design engagement led to an invitation from the founder to join Consul as founding designer. It reflected the trust built through months of working together on the product and its vision.
